Maya Hope

Maya Hope is an independent singer-songwriter based in Wicklow,Ireland, with a folk-orientated sound and a deep love of fantasy and the medieval that runs through the heart of her song. Her storytelling is rooted in the heart, vulnerable, intimate, raw and evocative, building worlds for her listeners to fall into.

Drawing on the artistry and drama of Kate Bush and AURORA, and the vulnerability of Tamino and Joni Mitchell, Maya's lyrics reflect on her own life, social justice, a boundless love of nature, and the countless fantasy novels and games she loses herself in.

She has performed across venues in Dublin and Wicklow, including the Taste of Wicklow Festival in July 2026.
Maya Hope’s debut single “Fantasy” is due to be released October 24th. It is a love letter to her teenage self, about the struggles of social anxiety and escapism - by literally running away with the fairies. She is also currently working on her debut EP “ROOTS” which is due to be released in early 2027.
